Welcome reception

on Monday, 06.03.2017 in the exhibition area.
All DAGA participants as well as exhibitors are welcome.

Social Evening

on Tuesday, 07.03.2017 at the cruise terminal "Norwegenkai" for all DAGA participants.

This event does not only include the traditional jam session but also a Science Slam (SoundSLAM) to mark the ten-year anniversary of DEGA's Young Professionals. Interested parties may present 5 to 10-minute talks on an acoustical topic in a humorously and popular scientifically arted (preferably German) language. For participation, please contact Daniel Trojer at junge-dega@dega-akustik.de.

Just north of the CAP2 building in Olshausenstrasse, you will find the bus stop Kiel Universität.
From here, take bus line 61 or 62 up to the station Hauptbahnhof.
Please change here for bus line 100 or 200 up to Norwegenkai.
The journey will take approximately 25 minutes.

Here you will find a planner for your individual journey by public transport.

Alternatively, you can reach Norwegenkai by a half-hour walk through Kiel city centre.

Night of Acoustics and Project Lighthouse

On 8 March 2017 (Wednesday), you will get the chance to attend the Night of Acoustics at Christian-Albrechts-Universität Kiel. The event is taking place in the Audimax building and in its courtyard. The entrance is free.

You will get the chance to listen to several talks on acoustical topics and the chance to look at the "acoustical light show" of the lighthouse project at the multi-storey building of the university. Here you will find detailed information.

Sports program

At DAGA 2017, there will be the novelty of a scientifically prepared sports program for all interested DAGA participants. Join in to activate your mental performance and use the various possibilities for networking.

The indoor swimming pool at Olshausenstraße 70-74 will open exclusively for DAGA participants in the mornings and the entrance in this time will be free.
